"Reznik International Conference"
The International Conference "Theoretical and Applied Aspects of Geophysical Fliud Dynamics, 2025" will be held on March 24-25, 2025 at the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, at the address: Moscow, Nakhimovsky Prospekt, 36, Small Conference Hall.
The conference is organized by Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (University) in the form of 20-minute oral reports on thematic areas of work of the Conference in a mixed format: in person and via video conference.
The conference language is English.

The following topics will be presented:
1. General Theory of Eddies and Waves
2. Theoretical, Numerical, and Laboratory Studies of Eddy Dynamics
3. Study of Impurity, Plume, and Tracer Clustering Dynamics
4. Study of Stability of Eddy Structures. Regular and Chaotic Eddy Dynamics
5. Chaotic Advection
At the authors' request, selected and expanded versions of the papers may be submitted for publication in the Journal of Oceanological Research in accordance with the rules for publishing scientific papers. The editors of the journal accept manuscripts of papers recommended by the Program Committee for publication out of turn.
