Last weekend, the district finals of the Leaders of Russia competition ended.

One of the finalists, head of the Ocean Optics Laboratory Dmitry Glukhovets, took part in the three-day event. “Leaders of Russia” is an open competition for leaders of the new generation, which provides an opportunity to receive a grant for the development of their initiatives and become part of the community of the best managers in the country. Participation provides an opportunity to receive assessment and recommendations for developing your management competencies from the best HR specialists, receive an educational grant, and make a wide range of interesting contacts.

“Although I did not manage to qualify for the super final, the main goal of participation - to establish business contacts with both the finalists of this competition and the winners of previous seasons - was successfully completed. I am sure that this will fill and diversify the program of seminars of the Council of Young Scientists,” Dmitry, who is now the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists at the Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, shares his impressions.

This year, 116 participants reached the super final of the fifth “Leaders of Russia” competition. All super finalists will receive an educational grant in the amount of 1 million rubles and the opportunity to work with mentors from among the country's leading managers.

Anyone under the age of 55 and with at least 2 years of management experience can take part. Participants can be both experienced business or public sector leaders, and newcomers to the management field.
